How would you encourage Calgary’s children (and their parents) to choose active modes of transportation for travel to and from school?

How would you work with parents and the City to provide safe routes to walk and bike to Calgary’s schools, including traffic safety measures in the vicinity of the schools themselves?

Thanks for the question. Safety is an issue we all have concerns about.  After  finding out would is presently happening to protect our children, I would ask for a safety audit of all  schools to see would needs to be done to improve crosswalks and areas connected to our schools.  I would want this audit to begin at schools where safety issues have be identified but end up with all schools having the safety audit.
